1. What We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to operate the service:

• Analytics — anonymized page views (via Plausible or Cloudflare Web Analytics). No personal data, no cookies for tracking.
• Email — if you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address via Brevo. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• API benchmark data — the public benchmark results we display are generated by our own tests against third-party APIs. We do not collect data from your API calls.

2. What We Don't Collect

• No cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking
• No personal information beyond email (if subscribed)
• No API keys or credentials from users
• No IP address logging beyond standard Cloudflare temporary logs

3. Third-Party Services

• Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and edge computing. Cloudflare's privacy policy applies to network-level data.
• Brevo — email newsletter delivery (if you subscribe).
• Stripe — payment processing for Pro subscriptions (future). Stripe handles all payment data; we never see your card details.

4. Data Retention

Benchmark data is retained indefinitely as it forms the core product value. Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 12 months.

5. Your Rights

You can request deletion of your email and associated data at any time by contacting support@techdecide.dev. We will respond within 30 days.

6. Changes

We may update this policy. Material changes will be announced via the website or email.
